Not sure why nobody will 'properly' answer this question. The answers have all been 'half' of an answer of what was being asked. Here's the full answer... Per the guide, it could be either an NVMe drive, or SATA, for the 128GB model. Also per the guide, the are 2280 drives (size reference). All the other sizes are all NVMe. I just brought mine home, and it's a Samsung MZNLN128HAHQ drive, which is M.2 SATA only. Bummer actually. But, for less that $100 I can put in a 512GB NVMe drive, so... this laptop really is still a great deal. Yes it's only SATA at 500Mbps, but... it's certainly upgradeable, and for not too much money at all.
