Thank you for your question about this USB-C dock! This dock can charge mobile devices like smartphones through the USB-A ports that are on it, but it does not have the power delivery for laptops.

I wonder if AI answered that question and said no it does not charge a laptop. Bad AI. My question to hopefully a qualified HP person is do I need to disconnect the Docking Station once full charge is achieved? That would disconnect my monitor and other things if so. Seems dumb if it doesn’t automatically stop charging an HP laptop once it achieves a full charge.
