The stand width at the widest part is 29 inches.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The distance between the outer edges of the legs is 28.5" in the front and 24.5" in the back. The previous answers are not fully correct because the legs do not go across the bottom of the TV at 90 degrees on each side going from front to back. It's more like 60 degrees in the front and 30 degrees in the rear, or 30/60 depending on if you are measuring the inside or outside angles. You can see this in most of the photos. For most people this will not make a difference such as fitting on a 30" wide dresser but for my installation it was relevant. As it turns out the 24.5" just barely made it, but if the inside edges were 28.5" apart like the front that would have made it a bit easier. For those of you this may be relevant for I hope this helps! This TV can be mounted on any mount that accommodates a VESA 200 x 200 format. You can view the screw inserts on the back view. The TV weighs just under 13# so any decent mount should have an easy time with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this TV for my mom and discovered her 28" TV stand was too narrow. I had to fashion a plexiglass top 32" wide to accommodate the new TV adequately.
