“Is it possible to have the TV boot to cable first? We do not use Roku much. The TV boots to Roku. The remote does not turn on the cable box. Can an aftermarket remote be programmed to boot the TV to cable and then use the OEM remote to go to Roku?”

• On the Roku menu, go to Settings > System > Power > Power on to Cable Box. The TV will automatically boot up to your cable box, and the Roku remote will not be required.

• Ours turns on to the last source we used when TV was turned off. In other words, if we are watching cable on HDMI 1 (cable box), and turn off the TV, when we turn it back on it is on HDMI 1, the cable box. I can't help with the remote questions, sorry.
