A:AnswerYes. I have an otterbox and the magnets still collided well through it, but just to sure i stuck it to the outside of my case....i also didn’t want to directly stick it to my phone. The metal plate is actually quite thin, you wont have a wobbly phone when you set it on a flat surface.
