    • Best answerI have a 55 inch insignia and I am using the insignia antenna and I get all the channel it all depends where the antenna is located. I think by the windows above the window or places higher the TV for the best signal. I didn't know there was over 80 channels of free cable avaliable 5.1, 5.2,5.3,5.4,5.5,5.6 etc... there is so many channels you have to find the right spot for the antenna.

  • Q: Does it work in a basement  (5 Answers)

    By Toni

    • Best answerThe antenna needs to be near a window to "capture" a signal. So if your plans are to put it in an egress or an external wall window, it will pick up some channels. If you put it right next to the TV, it is very unlikely this will work.

  • Q: What is the range of the antenna?  (4 Answers)

    By John

    • Best answerIt's about 40 to 60 miles. I purchased this because I didn't want to have a monthly bill for a cablebox for a TV in a guest bedroom that is hardly ever used. Just wanted the ocassional guest to have something to look at without having to come out into the main living quarters. Overall it is pretty good considering what I paid for it.

    • Best answerYour TV must have a "F" type coax connector. If not, you need an adaptor. All most all TV's produced within last 15 years or so have "F" connectors.
