Depends on the size of the toy or object. If the object doesn't trigger the sensor that says the robot hit something, it will more than likely push the toy until it does hit something. If the toy won't go under the edge of the robot, then it shouldn't suck it up, but that is a possibility again based on the toy size. That isn't much different than a regular vacuum though. As for moving furniture, we sometimes put our table chairs up, and sometimes leave them down, and the robot seems to adjust accordingly to the changes. You do need to be careful with cords on the floor that the vacuum might come in contact with as those can get sucked into the cleaning mechanism. If the robot gets jammed, it will stop and let you know until you clear the jam.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In regards to the coffee table being moved the Roomba would adapt to the new location and continue the cleaning process. In regards to the dog toy, it will vary depending on the dog toy. The Roomba would push most dog toys out of its way to continue the cleaning process. Some rope toys or soft toys may sucked up or stuck in the wheels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Roomba i7 is very intuitive. If the object is stationary, it will go around it. If the dog toy is not stationary, it will keep pushing it until it is out of the way. The mapping is one of it's best features. The rooms are segregated so even if you move furniture around in every room, it recognizes the dimensions of the room once it has completed the mapping. It takes 3 full cleans to map your home or level based on the configuration of your home. The only thing that will stop the Roomba from completing it's clean is if it tries to go under something and the height is just high enough to avoid the bump sensor but too short for the rest of the machine. I block my couch with the halo sensor provided so it avoids that area completely. This is the best robot vacuum in my opinion because it feels so good coming home to see perfect vacuum tracks in all my rooms with carpet and seeing all the bits and pieces vacuumed up on my hardwood floors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will move around the toy and continue as long as the toy doesn't get stuck under the unit. It adapts also to moved tables and chairs. It's smart mapping adapts to rearranging furniture even.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For dog toys, small children’s toys and throw rugs, the Roomba I7 will push right through them and out of the way. If you move a table, it will go around. Not sure if it will remap it on its own. You may have to request it to remap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It moves around items
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should pick up toys to clean. It would just push it to the side. If it’s a big toy. It will bump into and go into another direction. If u move furniture it will adapt. It won’t get stuck. Rarely ever gets stuck. Closed the door on its self once.
