This has happened to myself. I find it was from either having the music way too loud for to long causing the speaker to overheat, or activate a protection mode. I let the speaker sit for a couple hours before I attempted to recharge my device and power it on. Using the JBL official app can help you terrible shoot the devices as well. Make sure you download the correct app as there is a couple apps on the Google play store.
