Can it hand on a wall with Studs 24 inches apart   (2 Answers)

The details say will install on a wall with studs 16 inches apart, will it work on a wall with the studs 24 inches apart?

      Answer

Fred, The wall plate on this mount, the PDX650, is only wide enough to accept 16" or 18" stud spacing. If you're looking for an articulating mount that can accept 24" stud spacing go with our PDX680. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with, thanks,

    Tilt capabilities   (2 Answers)

Once the TV is attached to this mount, can you adjust the tilt of the TV by pushing the TV up or down or do you need to adjust the tilt in the back of the TV/mount by using a tool?

      Answer

You cannot adjust tilt on-the-fly with the PDX650. You will need to loosen the tilt nut with a socket, make the adjustment, and tighten it back up. If you can get away with using a single stud mount in your situation the M300 has a small lever that allows you to make quick tilt adjustments. Hope that helps, keep in touch if you have any other questions.

my wall does not have studs will this wall mount work? We have a 46 inch Samsung LED   (2 Answers)

      Answer

Cricket, to ensure your TV is secure we can only recommend installing the PDX650 into wood studs or concrete / brick. We only include hardware and installation instructions for these two mounting methods so if you decide to install it differently you'd have to determine a safe solution. To answer the second part of your question, most 46" Samsung TV's are quite light and typically use a 400x400 VESA bolt pattern. You shouldn't have any issues but if you'd like to confirm compatibility contact us directly using the support button on our site, thanks.

      Answer

JT, I've looked up the information for your TV, it has a 200x200 VESA pattern (bolt pattern) and weighs 82.7lbs so it is compatible with the PDX650. If you have any other questions please feel free to email us directly through the support button on our website and we'll be happy to help.

      Compatability   (1 Answer)

I am in the market for a 60 inch Samsung big screen tv. Are there any Samsung models that are currently on the market that this mount would NOT be compatible with?

        Answer

Sandie, Every 60" Samsung TV we've encountered in the past few years should work with our PDX650. Most Samsung TV's at that size are under the weight capacity of our mount and use a 400x400 VESA pattern which is quite common. I'm confident that you won't run into any incompatibility issues but feel free to contact us directly using the support button on our site if you'd like us to double check a specific model number.

Will this mount work with an LG 75UJ6470? I want to make sure all the ports on the back of the TV are easily accessible. I also want to make sure the mount holds the TV in a stable position. Thanks!   (1 Answer)

        Answer

Luto1313, Looking at a picture of the back of the TV, it doesn't look like the ports will be covered, but it may also depend which holes on the TV arm you use, so you may have to adjust the TV up or down on the mount if they are obstructed. The mount will hold the TV stable. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us directly through the support button on our website and we'll be happy to help.
