“Assuming there is enough room, would this work if installed under the front passenger seat? Not looking for heavy or thumping bass, just something to fill out the spectrum.”

The installation would all depend on how much room there is under your seat. I would recommend you contact one of our local Best Buy installers to help you on the installation part of it.
