• Hello mojo! Stainless steel has stainless steel in the front and black sides. Monochromatic stainless steel is stainless steel in the front and Apollo Gray sides.

• Monochromatic simply means one-color. Mono = 1 Chroma = color I don’t see any notable difference between this and other stainless steel finishes, it’s just a nice stainless finish. The doors are stainless and the body of the unit is painted gray. I’m happy with it so far.
