“purchased Samsung frame tv for over my fireplace. I have hdmi/outlet/Ethernet cables Already in the walls. I just found out that this Samsung tv has one connect box. I don’t want the box sitting in my mantel but inside the wall recessed . Will this work”

The Samsung OneConnect cable does NOT fit through the port in these Legrand power outlet extensions. I just had to run it through the wall and put a separate brush plate box in the wall to pull it through. It's too wide to fit into the 90° angle of the Legrand kit, unfortunately.

My understanding is that the cable from the TV to the box is not in wall rated so I passed on this TV although it is a great look.

Please try again later.We would recommend checking with your fireplace manufacturer to be sure that this type of wall box can be installed over the fireplace, but if it is a standard gas fireplace it should work. Additionally, although the connect box should fit in the recess of this product, there is not actually a shelf or ledge to hold it in place there. You may need to find an alternative to hold the connect box.
