A:AnswerFirst, be sure the software you are trying to install is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
A:AnswerThere should be no problem transferring files, so long as the files are compatible with Windows 10 and you have a compatible program installed on the computer that can open/read the file. Here is a link to Lenovo Migration Assistant software to help you easily transfer files from your old computer to your new one: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/software/lenovomigrationassistant/
A:AnswerI don't have the pc in front of me but I'm guessing this is the disk I/O light. A TON of stuff goes on after a pc boots, mostly related to checking for the latest security updates. The No Input HDMI1 is probably coming from your screen not getting signal from a pc that has gone to sleep.
A:AnswerNot really. The integrated graphics card is not very good and the power supply will not allow you to install a new one. The power supply can not be upgraded because Lenovo uses a 10 pin connection and all other brands use a 24 pin connection. I am about to return mine and buy something better.
A:AnswerYou can use any external computer speakers, compatible with Windows 10. You can connect the speakers either through the headphone jack on the front of the computer or the audio output ports on the back of the device at the top left side. Here is a link to the User Manual for this model. Check page 23 for a diagram of the ports on the back of the computer: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/desktop_pub/aio_510_510a_series_hmm_20180507.pdf
A:AnswerAbsolutely. This was GREAT DEAL! Everything was so easy, to connect, learn, install. I had overlooked this brand for a long time. Just like everybody else, we prefer those name brands. Now, I am hooked and with a very reasonable price.
