          Answer

There's no built-in speakers. However, there is an audio output jack on the back of the monitor. If you have your own speakers, you could plug them in. The audio port works in conjunction with the HDMI port; the HDMI cable will carry both the Audio & Video signal from the computer into the monitor, the monitor will transfer the audio signal to the audio output jack.

              Answer

You will need an adapter for the laptop. It has either a Micro or Mini HDMI port, you will need an adapter to convert the smaller laptop port to a full size HDMI port. Here's a link to an example of a mini HDMI to standard HDMI. You will need to confirm if your laptop has a mini or micro HDMI port, then get the proper adapter: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/monster-mini-hdmi-to-hdmi-adapter-black/8735595.p?skuId=8735595

                Answer

You would need a converter for the cables. This only have an HDMI and VGA cable. You would have to get a HDMI to thunderbolt if you have something like a newer iMac.

As far as I'm concerned, no. It's ridiculous that there's the option to adjust the brightness & contrast, and yet it doesn't save.
