The most popular gaming controller for Windows devices is the Xbox Wireless Controller. It plays nicely with most games, especially games from the Xbox app (after setup, you can activate a trial to Xbox Game Pass where you can access hundreds of games instantly). Here's a link in parentheses to view the controller and your color options: (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-xbox-wireless-controller-for-xbox-series-x-xbox-series-s-xbox-one-windows-devices-carbon-black/6430655.p?acampID=0&affgroup=%22Content%22&cmp=RMX&irclickid=w3Mzy9TzhxyKRxUQS1WJgyOFUkCVS8RRTUNj100&irgwc=1&loc=Howl+Technologies%2C+Inc.&mpid=376373&nrtv_cid=w79h79votq051&ref=198&skuId=6430655&u1=pcg-us-4860189858735405197) Also, the controller comes with two AA batteries, but like usual, these can deplete quickly. As a stocking stuffer and to reduce battery use, here's another link to a rechargeable battery pack for the controller: (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-rechargeable-battery-usb-c-cable-for-xbox-series-x-and-xbox-series-s-black/6430661.p?skuId=6430661)
