• I can't answer what the screen is made of (no mention in the manual either), but we have between 12 and 15 of these at my school. No issues yet with the glass.

• No, this system does not use Gorilla Glass. The pen that comes with the system is made to not scratch the screen. As long as you use the proper pen, there will be no scratching of the screen by the pen.
