It can lead to increased energy bills, poor cooling performance, overheating of the fridge exterior, frequent or longer running cycles, and unusual noises. Dirty coils reduce the refrigerator's ability to transfer heat from the inside to the outside, resulting in higher internal temperatures and lower cooling efficiency.
