QuestionLooks like this fridge produces way too much ice for our use (dual ice makers, 6.5 lbs per day). Does the unit shut off after the buckets are full and not start overflowing and freezing up like my older GE? Can you shut-off all ice production?
- Answer Both ice makers have an off switch. I keep the freezer one turned off so we can use the space for food rather than ice. We just have the fridge one running and we've had no overflowing even though we rarely use the ice.

- Answer This fridge is awesome when it comes to fingerprints--none show up. I owned this fridge and a stainless steel one from Samsung and I'm constantly cleaning the Samsung because every fingerprint shows! The LG finish is great for daily use and it really goes well with all of my stainless steel finish appliances in my kitchen. You will enjoy this fridge!

The recommended installation clearance for above the refrigerator to allow for a sufficient airflow around the refrigerator is 1" so you would need 69 3/8" for the refrigerator to fit. it will fit in a space that has a height of 70 1/8"...^IFV
QuestionI bought the LG - 22.1 Cu. Ft. Model:LFXC22526S installed up against a wall on the right side. The frig fits in the opening but the right door just barely opens about 35% before it binds on the wall. Any suggestions? Shouldn't it open almost full at 1/8"?

QuestionI have the IcePlus option turned off since we don't need additional ice and don't want to keep the other ice bucket in the freezer section due to limited space. Our fridge worked fine the first two weeks, but all of a sudden ice cubes spill into freezer.

QuestionThe dimensions say the box is 68-3/8" but the height to top of the hinge is 69-3/4". Does the hinge sit entirely on top of the door? Our cabinetry is exactly 69" high, so any portion of the fridge that must fit under the cabinet must be lower than 69".
- Answer Just measured mine, It is 69.75 inches from the floor to the top of the door. The actual box is is about an inch shorter. The hinges are flush with the top of the door and go back about 8 inches from the front of the door. This sounds confusing but if you need the refrigerator to sit pretty much flush with your cabinet it will be too tall. If the fridge can sit out about 8 inches (so the hinges are in front of your cabinet), it should fit fine. Since the purpose of the cabinet depth is to get a "built-in" look, this one is likely too tall. Hope this is helpful.
QuestionDo the doors have to be opened all the way to slide open the "Glide N Serve" drawer? Looking to install this unit with a wall on the left. What is the minimum angle that the doors can be opened to slide out the "Glide N Serve" drawer?
- Answer To open the full width drawer all the way, both doors have to be opened to 90 degrees. The larger half width drawers don’t come out as far and the door only needs to open about 45 degrees.

QuestionIs the freezer drawer removable, i.e., can it be removed prior to installation in order for the unit to fit through the front door?
- Answer The delivery guys removed the front handles on the fridge and freezer for it to fit through our doorways. They installed the handles back afterwards.
