• This depends on the video settings of the game, your computer and the monitor. The 34WL500-B does have the ability to play games full screen. ^CP

• Go into the settings of the game and make sure you can change the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 21:9. If you can then you're golden

• As far as I know, game consoles don't support ultrawide aspect ratios, so it would most likely have black bars on the sides. If you do anything on PC though, this monitor will be an improvement over a 16:9 one.
