The inside width at the base (where the legs meet the surface they are sitting on) is approximately 42 inches. The inside width where the legs meet the TV is roughly 37.25 inches.

The legs are angled. At the bottom, where it touches the surface it is sitting on, the width between the legs is roughly 43 inches. The width at the top of the legs at the bottom of the TV is roughly 35 inches.
