Thank you for your interest in the LG Electric Dryer (DLEX7900BE) model. The height of the dryer vent from the floor can vary, but a common recommendation is to set the vent a minimum of 12 inches above the outside ground. As for centering the vent to the dryer, it is advisable to measure the specific dryer you own or are going to buy before making the hole in the wall, especially if you are concerned about alignment. You can download its owner's manual through this link for more information: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-DLEX7900BE.ABLEEUS. ^Cris
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The vent is centered on the back of the dryer very near the floor. Plan to allow about 9 inches of clearance between the back of the dryer and the wall to allow for an elbow to install the flexible vent piping. The installer supplied this and it hasn't been a problem after many months.
