You can adjust the sensitivity by pressing the right/left buttons in the middle, bellow the scroll wheel. Did you also install the weight on the bottom of the mouse ?

I do not think so at all. I do not use a mouse pad, but rather just the wooden surface I play on, and I experience no lag. If there is any, I can not tell. I hope this helps answer your question!

No, you can use the dongle same speed. Powerplay is just for wireless charging

Power play is only for charging while using the mouse, without the cable. For max connectivity plug the included dongle into a USB header within line of sight to the mouse. If you need more range, use the included adapter and cable to plug into a USB header, and place the dongle within line of sight, like on your desk.
