“My space has a cutout in the wall 2" deep x 28 1/4" wide x 62 1/2" high. This accommodates part of the depth of the coils at the back of my present fridge. Will it make any difference to the depth taken up by this Maytag fridge?”

This 18 cu. ft. Maytag refrigerator (Model MRT118FFFH) is 29.7" wide, 31.3" deepand 66.3" high. I don't think it would fit in your space.
