It's not working for me in Windows 10. Windows does not recognize it as an Xbox Controller in Game Controllers and Steam won't recognize it at all. Replacing a Series S controller that still works when I try it, analog is just super sloppy. Have ran windows update and Xbox Accessory App does not recognize Bluetooth. So it's really a mixed bag but at day of release, it's not working for me at all and is useless compared to the Series S controller that works fine.
Thank you for asking. Yes, this Xbox wireless controller has built-in Bluetooth support and is compatible with Windows 10 PCs via Bluetooth without the need for Xbox Wireless Adapter.
No, it will not out of the box. You will need a USB-C cable to update the firmware of the controller for it to work on Win10 properly. They rush shipped the controllers before the development was ready. Typical Microsoft. I have to wait for a stupid cable now in order to use my WIRELESS Controller. MS really does have their heads up their butts on this one. SMFH. Will not work with Steam out of the box so don't even bother trying. Go see Steam Forums for more info.
This controller is not compatible with Windows 10 PC using a bluetooth connection, even with latest firmware and latest OS update. It only works using a USB-C cable (as of 11/30/20).
No. It may as well not even have bluetooth right now. Buttons aren't mapped correctly even with firmware update and running latest windows update (as of 11/30). It will only work right while attached to PC with a cable.
Yes it will
