I’m using mine with the Dell Latitude but should work the same with an Inspiron. It has the USB plug-in receiver. Just plug it in your USB port and second later you’re ready to go.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't need to... As you can see, it comes with a wireless receiver that communicates with the keyboard (and mouse at same time). So, you plug that little thing into your computer's USB port and voila! Just turn on your keyboard (and mouse) to see it working smoothly. Another important aspect is that the USB dongle can perfectly be hidden in the back of the computer, it still works amazingly well. Just keep within a fair distance (check the specs and it of course depends on the battery). Oh yes, the downside of all this is that keyboard (and mouse) needs battery, but it alkaline lasts forever and you still can use rechargeable ones...
