No, NBA 2K21 Next Gen does not work on the Xbox One. The disc will either fry your console or display a message saying “Oops! Try this disc again on the Xbox Series S|X”. What IS compatible with the Xbox One is NBA 2K21 Current Gen. The difference is the graphics, the online map is different, and the cover athlete is Damian Lilard not Zion Williamson.
