I'm using this router for few months now and I do like the wifi range. It does cover good 3500 to 4000SF home without any problem! I didn't notice any change with speed with good 3500sf.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our house is over 3000 square feet (2 story) and it covers the entire house and the cameras out front and back with the basic Orbbi pack (one sattelite adapter). I can tell you that it was a pain in the butt to get Comcast to recognize it, but now that it's set up, it's working great. It's intent is to keep the speed consistent between the base and the satellite, so I haven't noticed any slower signal with the satellite station. Unless you mean satellite internet, in which case I have no clue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are 3 satellite types available, rbs20 - smallest range and no Ethernet connection, just plug in and go. RBS40 - medium range with (4) 1 gig Ethernet ports for connecting non-wireless devices (I use these for Ooma phone system). The RBS50 has the longest satellite range and the (4) 1 gig Ethernet ports. They all have the same speed and bandwidth, they just extend your range and give more consistent coverage. I no longer lose WiFi when the microwave is running, major source of WiFi interference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The range is great. That’s the only good thing about Orbi. Speeds are horrible. The Satellite connection is even worse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on the system you buy rated by square footage very strong signal I wasn’t able to use it because of its auto negotiation on which it chooses or WiFi 2.4 or 5 ghz connection. I have a mixed environment and not all devices are 5 ghz capable and you can select what it connects to what
