I have the Orbi with cable modem that is approved by my ISP (Spectrum). I do not have any of the cable company/ ISP equipment in my house. No rental fee, no wireless network fee, I just pay for internet connection and taxes. My Ooma phone system and streaming video services work great with Orbi, I have two satellite units to cover whole house.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to have an internet subscription with your cable provider. It also doesn't plug into the cable box. You will need a separate coax outlet or a splitter.
