Personally, after spending the past 20 years as a expert witness testifying in court cases all around the US, I prefer NOT to have GPS information stored on my dashcam. Most highway average speeds are approximately 5 mph over the posted speed limit, with the average speed RANGE going from the posted speed limit to about 10 mph above. If you document the fact that you were exceeding the speed limit (even if the video shows you were actually the SLOWEST vehicle on the road that day and cite the fact that every piece of research ever published shows that DEVIATION from AVERAGE speed--not speed per se--is what causes accidents), the other side at your court case will focus exclusively on YOUR speed at the time of the accident (regardless of whether that was actually an issue or not). The simple fact that you can SHOW video of what occurred in the accident is far more effective than anything else you can do. If the other side asks you to prove that the video is from THIS accident, simply ask them exactly how many catastrophic accidents they think you have with cars identical to the other side's client?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It records GPS, speed, date & time by default on the video. All of which can be turned off selectively.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.GPS recorder is built into the cam so you don't need any mount other than what's included. Yes, the video footage will show you the speed and GPS location. Additionally, if you use the myNextbase player app on your PC or Mac, you can also see your route overlayed on a map side-by-side with the footage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The windshield mount has the GPS antenna built in and does overlay speed and location onto your vids.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.GPS works with their standard supplied mount
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The GPS is built into the camera so no extra mounting hardware is required. It does track your speed and location.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.GPS location and speed/telemetry data are collected and can be viewed from the PC and phone apps. The accuracy is quite good too. Time and date are set/verified based on GPS position.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the GPS info is embedded in the file, and placed on the video if you enable that option. I think it may be using the phone's GPS for obtaining that data. But it connects wireless to the phone so no special mounts. Keep in mind--some vehicles have window tint and coating that greatly reduces the phones ability to stay connected with the satellites.
