  • Q: Is this lens compatible with Nikon D90? Would it work well for real estate photography?  (3 Answers)

    By beachrose

    • AThe Nikon D90 DSLR camera is not compatible with AF-P type lenses like the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR. For a fully compatible wide-angle lens look into an AF-S type like the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28mm f/1.8G Wide-Angle lens or an AF-type like the Nikon AF Nikkor 20mm f/2.8D Wide-Angle lens. Wide-angle lenses are ideal for real estate photography, interiors and landscapes.

    • AThe Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Wide-Angle Zoom lens will not work with the Nikon D90 DSLR camera as AF-P type lenses are not compatible with that camera body. Nikon D90 cameras are fully compatible with AF and AF-S type lenses and will work beautifully with them. AI lenses can also be used but will need to be manually focused when used on the Nikon D90. For more information on lens compatibility please contact Nikon Support.

  • Q: Will this lens work with Nikon D7000? Thanks  (2 Answers)

    By DW

    • Best answerNo. The Nikon D7000 DSLR camera is not compatible with AF-P lenses. Compatible lens types that can be used fully with this camera body are AI, AF, AF-S and newer E-type lenses. For something similar in angle and range check out the Nikon AF-S Zoom NIKKOR 17-35mm f/2.8D. Another great choice for a wide-angle lens would be the Nikon AF-S 28mm f/1.4 E, which has a super fast aperture, making it an excellent prime lens for low light situations.
