  • QuestionSo I bought this for my D5000, the lens is compact and feels nice and modern but there's one problem. I can't focus it on anything, and since there's no autofocus switch on it then that puts me in a bad spot. Is it just not compatible with my camera?

    Asked by JayB.

    • Answer The AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G Zoom Lens is not compatible with the Nikon D5000 Digital SLR Camera. This AF-P 18-55mm lens uses a newer Electromagnetic Pulse motor, indicated in the name by AF-P, which is not compatible with our older cameras.
