are lenses from my current digital nikon camera interchangable with the latest models?   (2 Answers)

      Answer

The lens mount on the D750 as well as on your NIKKOR lenses from your current Nikon DSLR are compatible. It will depend on the lenses that you have, what functions are available on the camera with the older lens attached. The D750 is a DSLR with a full frame. If the lenses you own have a DX designator on them, you will see a crop window in the viewfinder as those lenses are made for a Nikon DSLR with a smaller sized sensor.

It is a PNY - Pro Elite 32GB SDHC Class 10 Memory Card. When I first got the camera, I shot around 30images then I got an error about the memory card. I formatted, then It worked just fine. The next day, I went out and shoot for about 20 images, I got the same Error.

Please check out page 491 of the User’s Manual for the Nikon D750 DSLR camera to be sure you’re using an approved memory card as errors can occur when using a non-approved card. If you need more assistance please contact Nikon Support.

  • Question
How's the video quality? Is there an option of using the viewfinder when shooting video? Does the autofocus work on video mode?   (2 Answers)

      Answer

The D750, with it's excellent FULL HD video capability, enables you to take high quality video with the camera. The camera uses only the tilting LCD screen to shoot the video in Nikon's LIVE VIEW mode. You cannot use the optical viewfinder to shoot the video as the mirror is flipped up to allow for the recording of video. This will block the optical viewfinder. Autofocus does work in Video mode as well as manual focus.

    SB900 and D750 hot shoe   (2 Answers)

Sorry my earlier question was not correct. I am aware of thermal cut issue with SB900. I wanted to ask whether there is any issue with SB900 and D750 hot shoe connection. I read it here: http://petapixel.com/2015/05/05/nikon-d750-hot-shoe-reportedly-causing-problems-by-being-slightly-too-long/ Please let me know. Thanks, Sudesh

      Answer

Sudesh, To my knowledge, I have heard of no issues with the Nikon D750 hot shoe connection. It may be, as with all cameras, a small batch of cameras may have had manufacturing defects. Nikon has an incredible reputation of taking care of their customers and I would recommend visiting their website and speaking with one of their representatives if this issue pops up. I highly believe they will fix it for you. Cheers, David

Any word from Nikon as to when the D750 will be available again?   (2 Answers)

I know the D750 was pulled from retailers so the AF sensor baffle could be repaired, I'm just wondering when it will become available again. Thanks!

I am lost comparing the Nikon D750 to other Nikon DSLR camera's (that are one third of the cost), averaging far more on specs? N Don't understand the "free accessories" push when u consider the D750 price tag, nada is truly free-with 1yr warranty at that?   (2 Answers)

          Answer

The Nikon D750 has a full frame sensor compared to the lower cost, "crop sensors." Some benefits with the full frame is more light hits the sensor, allowing you to increase your shutter speed. This is super helpful when taking action photos or in low light situations (church). Besides the full frame, there are many other features and benefits that separate this camera from all of the others.
