The shield is its own streaming unit that can also do a fair bit more. You can download the Prime Video channel on this just fine. No extra hardware required.
No (assuming you're a prime customer), Prime Video is installed on the Shield. Just enter your log on info.
No...there is an Amazon Prime Video app you can download directly on the Nvidia Shield (any model).....no need for Firestick or Cube....
You don't need either, just install the Amazon Prime app onto the Shield. You do need an Amazon Prime account to use it though.
