  • Q: What is the impedance? not listed on the specs  (2 Answers)

    By joebeach

    • Best answerI am not an expert in this area, but I believe a speaker's impedance only applies to passive (unpowered) speakers. The Onkyo subwoofer you mention is a powered speaker, so it does not rely on the amplifier's power. I have connected this particular subwoofer to several different amplifiers and receivers with no problems. It is a great source of base for a small to medium listening area for music or videos.

  • Q: Does it have a HTmi connection?  (2 Answers)

    By Anonymous

    • Best answerI'm guessing you meant H"D"MI, and no it does not. Why would a powered subwoofer need HDMI. It feeds from your source amplifier/receiver. If your source [amp/receiver] has HDMI,it passes through to everything after.

  • Q: Can this sub be placed on its side?  (3 Answers)

    By melvin

    • AI mean, I guess it could be, but you would be risking voiding the warranty and you would definitely not be getting the full benefit. This is a down firing subwoofer and is meant to be directing it's sound down to the floor.
