A:AnswerYou can block up to 150 numbers according the manual, I know we have at least 50 numbers blocked so far. Yes you can mute the incoming ring for the blocked numbers. If you don't mute it, there is only one ring. The phone answers then hangs up on the blocked number.

Unblocking numbers I no longer wish to block:
On the handset press [MENU] [#] [2] [1] [7]
Press the [▲] or the [▼] to select the number you'd like to unblock.
Press the soft key [ERASE]
Press [SELECT] on "Yes"
Press [OFF] to exit the setting.
A:AnswerI actually use both the telephone company's provided voice mail and the Panasonic recorded message feature. Calls that come in when I am on the phone go to voice mail and the rest are picked up on the phone's recorder after four rings (adjustable). The phone sits in a cradle at about 45 degrees. If you hang the base unit on the wall, it is not as secure.
