With the new Alexa Echo Plus Gen 2 you do NOT need a Hue bridge it is built in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your echo dot will control them, and they work in any socket, just like a regular light bulb. There is also a Philips app, and google home support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do not need a special light fixture they work in most fixtures that take a regular bulb. Just know if it is in a fixture that has a wall switch then the wall switch must be left on and the turning on and off should be done using either the Hue App on your phone, the Alexa App on your phone or verbally asking Alexa to turn on or off the specific fixture. Each fixture must be given a unique name so Alexa can tell them apart. You can group the unique names into room groups on the Hue App and Alexa will recognize the room names as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These work in any standard light fixture as long as the bulb fits. However, if you dont have one yet, you will need a Philips hue bridge in order to control them with Alexa or the app
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hue A19 bulbs with work with echo dot as long as you have a Hue hub that will work will the Alexa app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They work with all home accessories including Echo, Google Home and Siri
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I asked Alexa to change the bedroom light to give only 50% - and she did it. BTW, I have both the Dot and the Hue bridge so I can't verify if the Dot will work without the bridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bulbs based on my experience can be used in a variety of configurations. Just be sure to group them if you’re using more than one bulb per application. You can control your Hue bulbs through both Apps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bulbs can be used with any light fixture. I control my lights with both the Philips app and Alexa. The Alexa app will guide you through setup. You just have to remember the names given to the individual bulbs/lights or rooms.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm taking it you mean in a special light switch or lamp but no you don't. You will need a hub if you want it to work to optimal level.
