Q: QuestionI bought this unit for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler…. Looking to replace speakers as well. What speakers would work well with this unit? I’m trying not to have to buy an amp either. Can I use this unit with replacement speakers without an amp?

• A:Answer The Pioneer DMH-241EX has a built-in amplifier and is designed to operate up to 4 speakers in your vehicle. For the speakers, please consider the Pioneer TS-A653R for the front dash panel. You can also use the Pioneer TS-A653R for the roll bar location. If your vehicle has woofer/tweeter locations in the dash and roll bar please consider the Pioneer TS-A1607C. These speakers include a woofer and separate tweeter. Please be sure to talk to a Best Buy Sales associate for installation details. Each woofer/tweeter pair of Pioneer TS-A1607C wire together and will work great with the in-dash receiver.

• A:Answer The Pioneer DMH-241EX is not designed to work with SiriusXM. However, you can always use the SiriusXM app on your phone and stream to the vehicle with the Bluetooth Audio music source on the in-dash receiver. Pioneer makes many different receivers that work with SiriusXM. Please consider the Pioneer DMH-1770NEX, or the Pioneer DMH-W2770NEX, or the Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX.

• A:Answer No. The Pioneer DMH-241EX DOES NOT work with Android Auto. Pioneer makes many receivers that are compatible with Android Auto. For Android Auto, please consider the Pioneer DMH-1500NEX. or Pioneer DMH-W2770NEX, Or Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX

• A:Answer The Pioneer DMH-241EX will require some modification to the sub dash in order to make it fit. This will also require a proper dash installation kit and wiring kit. No, this is not a plug and play installation. Car Stereo in general, very rarely is plug and play. I recommend professional installation you can have this done at Best Buy. Please be sure to contact a Best Buy sales associate for installation information.

• A:Answer The Pioneer DMH-241EX is designed to operate within the -10C to +60C or +14F to +140F temperature range. On those days when you start your vehicle and the temp is below the designed operating temperature range, the display may not operate correctly until the in-dash receiver warms up to the designed operating temperature. Using the receiver, for example playing the AM/FM radio will warm it up.
