        Answer

You don't need any accessories to connect to a laptop. To put this into a desktop computer, you may need an adapter kit so that it fits into the slot of your old 3.5" hard drive.

It should work as long as your current Hard Drive is 2.5" and is after 2011 probably. I fitted my 2010 Toshiba C655 laptop. It was just a matter of plug and play! That was it.
