  • Q: I want to buy one and bring back home to New Zealand. What should I know regarding warranties, repairs, power, etc?  (1 Answer)

    By Geis

    • AI'm also looking at doing the same thing, warranties are valid for 1 year however you will have to pay for the shipping out of your own pocket back to the USA, which is not cheap. For the power, i think just get a simple travel power adapter will work, something like this Hope this helps :)

  • Q: For Music Production is Full HD or 4K HUD better?  (3 Answers)

    By Confused

    • AActually, it will make a big difference between 4K and Full HD screens regarding music production. If you're working with VST's, that is. Most DAW's are scalable and will still look okay, but the problem comes in when you use most VST's. Most will not be able to be scaled. Like Nexus or Spire for example. The buttons to browse for banks, or change settings in the menus are so tiny that I had to put the screen near my face to see what I was selecting. What happens is you have a DAW that's easily viewable, but your instrument settings are extremely small due to the 4K. There's a workaround. You can go to the settings in your laptop and change the font settings, but even then, it may not look right still. To me the "workaround" was annoying, because if I changed the font, then opened Chrome to go search something, it was so blown up, it just looked ridiculous. So, with the 4K touchscreen, you have a beautiful screen, but you'll need to tweak with the Windows settings to make some instruments look right, or you can go with the Full HD screen, no touch, but have less headaches on working on your music on the go.
