• I use the Note 4 and it works like a dream. If you see in the picture that little additional adapter, that needs to be connected to the main device. From there simply plug the HDMI side into your TV and the newly extended connector into your phone and you should be good to go. To not burn through your battery too fast, also plug a power cable into the port near the HDMI out cable.

• I went into Best Buy and spoke with a sales rep. I told her exactly what I wanted to do. She gave me the Rocketfish HDTV Adapter ($30.99) and an Insignia 8 ft HDMI cable ($15.99). She even hooked it up to a TV in the store to show me how it worked. My 14 year old hooked it up when we hot home. Very easy
