“My concern is since the control buttons are all integrated into one $1000.00 piece of equipment will they hold up for the entire expected life of this unit? I've had to purchase new controllers throughout the life of my xboxes. The bumpers fails the most.”

However, ASUS, being an ISO certified company that builds quality and long-lasting products, manufactures the Ally X using high-quality, more durable components for its controls, and even if they do eventually wear out, they are designed to be user-replaceable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My ROG Ally Z1X has had no issues with the buttons or bumpers/triggers and I’ve had it for a few years. I now have the new ROG Xbox Ally X and I don’t foresee any issues based on prior experience.
