A:AnswerYou can’t plug the roku into a cable as the ends are the same (male/ male). But you should be able to plug directly into your receiver and then just select that input (i.e. hdmi 1, 2, 3, etc) when you want to watch the roku.
A:AnswerThe sports channels(apps) may or may not be preinstalled, but if they are not there you could download the espn app through you roku account, you won't/shouldn't get charged for getting the app. If your watching sports channels right now through whoever your cable provider is once you get this device and download lets say for example the espn app (or whatever sports network) it'll ask who your cable provider is, submit the necessary info and you'll have the same access you do with your cable box/satellite. Internet(wifi) in the house/apartment is required for this device to work.
P.S if you do not have a cable provider streaming is another option, networks "tend" to ask for $10-15 a month for access...(not saying that's the price, that's just a tendency, could be more could be less)
A:AnswerThe USB goes into the power supply for the Roku.
If you have wireless wifi you are set.
Cable has nothing to do with the roku.
Also if you have a smart phone you can install the ROKU
App. and your cell phone replaces the ROKU Remote.
It's Cool.
A:AnswerIt will work with your HDMI port and if you have a USB drive on your tv you can charge it from that port. As far as HGTV and QVC, you will need a paid subscription to watch those channels
A:Answergood quality but It is about 2 min delayed from live tv and u can only watch sunday games during the day no n9ght games or Monday or Thursday night games cause that showing is on cbs not ticket
A:AnswerYou should cal Roku and have them do a live test. Check you ISP speed...some are very low bu it should work with as little as 2 Mbs for Sling or DirecTVNow.l
A:AnswerThe only con of the roku streaming stick is the inability to download kodi (able to on firestick). Overall I prefer the navigation of the roku, its faster than the firestick. The firestick offers voice navigation (amazon programming) roku does not offer voice navigation
A:AnswerArrow button to the left as far as it goes, then tab up to the little magnifying glass. That's your search. You gotta spell everything, it's clumsy, but it builds a memory.
