You can add some apps (referred to as "channels" in ROKU lingo). We added the Xfinity stream app to allow us to receive all of our Xfinity programming on three extra TV's in our house. We also added Pluto TV (a free service) and there are many more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Roku's official channel store provides a large number of channels to add and watch. But most of the services are premium and few of them are free. ... You need to sideload the app to Roku. Currently, the sideload option is only available plugins and ZIP file but not for APK files. Google it. They also offer channels you can only add via the browser log in and you might have to have a premium account to that app to link it to device. Including adult channels. :) Apps like Pluto can offer you free TV and Movies and it also has a spectrum cable tv app which if you have a spectrum cable service you will receive every channel they offer. We use the spectrum app in all rooms but the from room, and got rid of the $7 a month extra boxes spectrum charges monthly to have. DTA boxes you can return to spectrum and watch your bill drop.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think you can add apps, but are so many apps on this stick that it’s likely you won’t have to worry about not having the app you want.
