Ours is the same way. I am not impressed at all with their ice maker...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does the same thing and the cubes are all different sizes. And the ice is white.. I like the refrigerator but am not a big fan of the icemaker...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine for about a month now and have constantly use the icemaker, but have not had any issue. But occationally I get a couple drops of water before the ice comes out, no big deal. In your case, I would definitely get with BestBuy to have it for service and/or replaced.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Call for service on ice maker. Same issues I had and leaked water on floors. It's not normal as stated in comments. White/crushed ice in cube mode only is an indication of ice not fully freezing causing the ice to come out a mixture of cube and crushed. It will only get worse as time goes on. Service people installed food grade silicone inside fridge due to warm air getting inside ice maker cabinet. Work for a week and still have same issues but worse. This is a common problem with this model. After many service calls, finally replacing unit. Good thing I bought the extended warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the Samsung side by side French door version with the fancy wifi smart screen in front for a year now and let me say I love the refrigerator but the ice maker is a complete disaster. Cubed ice has crushed ice in the mixture no matter how many times you use it in a row and Yes even if you have NOT pressed crushed ice anytime prior. I tried experimenting and press crushed ice only to get a cubed ice in the mixture and not just once but many times. I have a Kenmore in Florida and the ice maker there is by far better than this. Ice looks large and clear rather than the Samsung snowy white in colour with every piece looking out of shape or broken. I called a technician and they have replaced every single component of the ice maker including the back side computer. Thanks all under warranty but still nothing has helped. I spend over 5 k for this refrigerator only to be highly disappointed. I think the problem is that there is one dispenser for both water and ice and it causes the system to be messed up. Shame on you Samsung!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same fridge and I did notice that my ice dispenser does the same. I don’t think it’s an issue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, I wouldn't call. Some of it gets slightly crushed by the impeller. This is relatively normal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for the question. It isn't unusual to have some crushed ice mixed in with the cubes, even if you don't select crushed. One possible cause could be cubes breaking as they are dropped from the tray or moved forward by the auger. These pieces could build up in the bottom of the bucket and be pushed into the dispenser chute with the whole cubes. It's also possible that some ice has gotten jammed in the path from the bucket to the dispenser. If the amount of crushed ice relative to cubes increases over time, the path may need to be cleared. There are instructions on the Support pages of Samsung's website for addressing this, or you could call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you with troubleshooting instructions, if necessary. - Ms. Samsung
