      Answer

The RF263BEAESR has a single icemaker in the refrigerator compartment that supplies ice through the dispenser in the door; the RF263TEAESR is a Dual Ice model with a second icemaker in the freezer. Both models feature Samsung's signature Twin Cooling Plus system along with HE LED lighting throughout, and the independently-controlled Cool Select Pantry Drawer in the fridge. we followed the directions your 800# rep gave us, still have the error. Samsung will not come look at the brand new machine. 3 representatives from your company repeatedly told me that we voided the warranty when we removed the doors. Unit is being picked up and we are getting our money back. We will not purchase samsung products again.

Cubed ice has Crushed ice in it.   (6 Answers)

I do not use the crushed ice feature on the refrigerator but when I get my ice it has both cubed and crushed ice eventhough I only select the cubed ice. I would say it is about 80% cubed and 20% crushed. Is this normal? Should I call for service? It is not a problem for me but I just wanted to make sure something is not wrong with ice maker.

What is the difference between Twin Cooling and Twin Cooling Plus?   (2 Answers)

I've noticed that recently introduced Samsung refrigerators feature Twin Cooling Plus as opposed to Twin Cooling in the older models. I would like to know how Twin Cooling Plus differs from Twin Cooling and why it might be better.

          Answer

While Samsung's signature Twin Cooling™ system helps keep food fresh longer with a humidity level of about 43%, Twin Cooling Plus™ provides even more advanced and precise cooling with higher humidity to prolong the fruits and vegetables. - Ms. Samsung

          Answer

Thanks for your interest in the RF263BEAESR. This model comes with the handles detached; you'll need a 3/16" (5mm) Allen wrench to install them. Instructions for attaching the handles and removing/reattaching the doors and drawer, if necessary, can be found in the User Manual which can be downloaded in advance as a pdf file from Samsung's website. - Ms. Samsung

How far do the doors have to open to be able to pull out the deli drawer?   (5 Answers)

How far do the doors have to open to be able to pull out the deli drawer; just at a right angle to the cabinet or beyond? It would be 2-3 inches from a wall on the right side.

          Answer

A 90° angle would provide the greatest access to items in the crisper drawer. Given the shape of the doors and handles, 2-3" is the minimum clearance you would need between the RF263BEAESR and the wall in order to access the drawer. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung

            Answer

Most likely a defective ice maker unit. Samsung replaced ours twice during the warranty period. It is still not fixed and Samsung is washing their hands of our problem since we are now outside the warranty period. Good luck to you. I hope you get better customer service than we did.
