• Yes, you can. Took me too long to locate how to. On the inside panel of the fridge, you're going to see several options. 1. ice Maker on- Fridge Compartment only. 2. Cubed Ice on - Freezer storage. 3. Ice Bits on - Freezer storage. Then pick the combination you want to use.

• Yes, you can shut off the bottom ice maker. You can do it with the interior control panel, or via the SmartThings app.

• On my fridge the bottom ice maker shut off is on the inside right door.
