A:AnswerJust bought today, freaked out because it wasn’t initially setup as HDR and my Xbox one X didn’t say it was compatible. But rest assured IT IS HDR, you just have to go into menu settings and enable UHD for whichever input your using. After that, your Xbox or any device should be able to detect it. You can follow these instructions to enable it.
Settings
_General
__External Device Manager
___HDMI UHD Color
and then check the input and you are done.
I hope this helps others.
A:AnswerI have similar issues, in addition to others. My current belief is that Samsung used inferior quality components with a high frequency of defects in this unit. I would recommend returning it and getting something else.
A:AnswerIt looks like the remote is the old style in Samsung's sales literature. It is easier to use and customers don't have to "relearn" everything. It is enough trouble learning a Roku remote.
A:AnswerDirectTV Now is an app. If your TV is connected to the Internet and you can download new apps to this TV (which you can), you can have DirectTV Now.
A:AnswerThis was a big question for me. I was getting different answers from the store and the on-line Best Buy tech. Here's the answer: the Samsung 43" nu6900 does Not come with the Spectrum app pre-loaded, but it CAN be downloaded on this TV. So when you set up the TV, connect the TV to your Spectrum Wifi, press the Smart Hub button on remote control to go the home screen, scroll to and select Apps (the 4 dots), then select the search icon (magnifying glass). Type in spectrum TV using the onscreen keypad and then select Done. I only have the TV plugged-in - no cables or anything. We have been watching our spectrum channels no problem.
A:AnswerYou can use a standard HDMI Cable. They are all the same. If a manufacture tells you otherwise on marketing material, that are creating hype to sell product.
