A:AnswerFor me the difference is night and day as far as the reflection on the screen. With my old flat screen I had to close the curtains to watch a movie if the sun was out but I can open every window and door in the house and there is no glare and because there is no glare the viewing range has really opened up and I am able to utilize the whole room.
A:AnswerIf you are a gamer this TV is for you Yes its 120 Htz and runs smooth just make sure that you have your setting correct and Always update the smart TV soft ware , Mi PS4, Xbox one , Never looked this good on my old TV
A:AnswerTo get true 4K from a DVD you will need a 4K DVD player and disk that is 4K encoded. Like a Blue-ray disk you need a BR DVD player. Unfortunately at current time their are no 4K DVD players or disks being released . Samsung will have at least one 4K player by Christmas and some disks to play. These players I understand will also play BR and regular DVD disks. Initial cost will probably be significantly higher than current BR players. Very fast Internet speed is critical to get 4K signal to your home. I don't have sufficient internet speed to get my signal through Direct TV which is offering movies in their pay-per view service. YouTube has a lot of free 4K movie previews and short programs.
My TV does offer upstaging and picture is significantly improved from our older HD set. But it does not look like the demos in the BB store.
A:AnswerYes but but in order to get the 4K picture quality you see in the BB store you need a very fast internet connection. I currently don't have that to support that quality. That aside the upscale feature to ULTRA HD is still impressive.
A:AnswerSports look AMAZING. Crystal clear and it is like you're at the game! The curved tv lines by Samsung have a 'sports mode' setting that you can turn on, making things so nice and clear and bright. You can actually see the details of the ball being thrown, or the hockey puck itself! For games, there's a 'game mode' setting that makes the games run and look smoothly, clearly, and non-laggy.
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerThe "features" are the difference. Depending on the exact model types, some have 3D, some don't. Some are at 120 hz, some are at 240. Depending on your needs and preferences. I find that 240 is too fast, making things look too artificial like. Also never needed or even used the 3D features and capabilities on previous sets. So again, it really just depends on what you want / need.
A:AnswerI would recommend this curved screen TV over a flat screen any time!
The side viewing angle seems much greater with the curved screen.
Am concerned about heat from the fireplace? Will you have a fire in the fireplace?
A:AnswerI purchased the curved Samsung soundbar and wireless sub that is displayed with the TV in stores and it is great. I was able to get a bundle deal to save $200
A:AnswerNetflix hook up should be easy. All we did was go to netflix on the TV's smart menu (if yours didn't come preloaded you can download it from the available apps), signed in, and it gave us an activation code. I went to my computer, jumped on the Netflix link given with the activation code, and entered the code there. That was it.
