In reality, it is 60Hz. The display uses software to emulate a refresh rate of 120Hz.

          Answer

In one word: EXCELLENT. My wife and I have been very impressed with this TV's performance and functionality. We also have a 65 inch curved screen TV, whose excellence motivated the purchase of the larger television for the family room. The picture quality is superb. Add a sound bar or surround sound speakers for an awesome movie experience. The television is extremely easy to setup, as well. I have been very pleased with this TV. I hope that you are pleased, should you buy this TV.

It is LED. The UHD indicates Ultra-High Definition, but the panel is still an LED panel. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S

How thin is this 75 inch TV? Some of the ones I have seen are so thin, if you set it on a table that someone walking by might just blow it over. I. e. does it have to be wall mounted? Thank you.   (4 Answers)

                  Answer

It's about 3 1/2 inches thick. By the weight of it when we mounted it, there is ABSOLUTELY no way someone could just walk by and blow it over. So....no, it doesn't have to be wall mounted.
