“My display port is not working. I bought a HDM to display port adapter and I am not getting a signal on my monitor. Can someone help?”

• Some adapters are one-way only. My Insignia "HDMI to Display Port" adapter works fine when the Display Port connector on the adapter is connected a DP output on the computer and then an HDMI cable goes from the HDMI connector on the adapter to an HDMI input on the monitor. However, turning it around so that the Display Port connector is attached to a DP input on the monitor, and then an HDMI cable goes from the HDMI connector on the adapter to an HDMI output on the computer does not work.

• Best way to utilize this monitor is from a DisplayPort out on your video card to DisplayPort on the monitor. You will get the best performance / response rate from the monitor this way.
